The story

He stops living in halves and chooses the plunge.

He has spent too long one foot in and one foot out, leaving talks unfinished and doors open, but her love makes him decide there’s no room left for maybe. He learns her mother’s recipes, hangs the pictures, and offers his whole heart unwrapped and unprotected, knowing the fall is real but the halfway life is colder.

Lyrics

Verse 1

I've been halfway on a lot of things, halfway out the door Halfway through a conversation that deserved a whole lot more I've been one foot in and one foot out for most of my whole life But something 'bout the way you love me made me wanna try

Pre-Chorus

I'm done with almost, done with maybe, done with not enough I'm diving in headfirst this time, no safety net, just us

Chorus

All the way, I'm going all the way with you No hesitation, no exit plan, no splitting up the truth I'm in for every morning, every fight, every mundane Tuesday too All the way, I'm going all the way with you

Verse 2

I'll learn your mother's recipes, I'll memorize your dreams I'll sit through every scary movie even though I'll scream I'll build the shelf you've wanted, hang the pictures on the wall I'm not just saying I'll be there, I'm saying I won't fall

Chorus

All the way, I'm going all the way with you No hesitation, no exit plan, no splitting up the truth I'm in for every morning, every fight, every mundane Tuesday too All the way, I'm going all the way with you

Verse 3

So here's my whole heart, unwrapped and unprotected Every flaw and every scar, completely unedited I know it's terrifying to give someone everything But all the way with you is the only way I want to live

Bridge

Halfway love is lonely, halfway life is cold I'd rather go all in and lose than never really know So take my hand and don't look back, let's jump into the blue All the way, forever and a day, I'm going all the way with you

The sound

Confident, warm mid-tempo country at 98 BPM. Full acoustic guitar, steady rhythm section, sweet pedal steel, and a resolute electric guitar that enters on the chorus. Grounded and sure-footed production. Builds conviction with each section. Think commitment anthem with open-hearted country sincerity.
