He has almost shaken her off when he sees her at a stoplight, riding passenger side in somebody else’s truck, and the progress falls apart. He deletes, disappears, goes to the gym, even makes it to a dream in a blue dress, but every glimpse sends him back to square one, still driving forward through the same old ache.
